Goldeneye 900: Optimized Processes at best wood Schneider

The goal was to automate workflows, reduce labor requirements, and ensure consistent quality. With the installation of the Goldeneye 900, manual sorting was completely replaced, and the automated quality sorting process was significantly enhanced through pre-sorting.
Increasing yield and Process Optimization
Since the introduction of the Goldeneye 900, best wood Schneider has increased visible quality by 15%. In combination with the lineal Goldeneye, yield has been further increased by 5%. "By using the Goldeneye 900, we have reduced trim loss across the entire plant for visible assortments by about 5%," adds Max Schneider, Site Manager of Meßkirch.
Additionally, the training of new employees and their work processes has been greatly simplified: "Our employees were often overwhelmed with the many qualities and sorting them correctly. The Goldeneye 900 solved this problem by consistently sorting the same quality, which relieves the employees. There are no more disputes between shifts, just consistent quality," explains Schneider.
Efficiency Through Cutting-Edge Technology
In addition to improving product quality, the Goldeneye 900 also impressed with its AI-based color recognition, which accurately sorts discolorations and wood defects. Particularly noteworthy is the system’s flexibility: "The benefits we didn’t expect were that we can now easily adjust specific dimensions to higher qualities within a single day and precisely sort a higher quality in a specific dimensional range," Schneider emphasizes.
The processes at the Meßkirch facility have been permanently transformed by MiCROTEC solutions, and the availability of the entire production line has significantly increased. "We continuously rely on a very strong customer-supplier relationship and feel well taken care of by MiCROTEC," Schneider concludes.
With MiCROTEC solutions, best wood Schneider is maximizing efficiency, quality, and future-oriented production at its Meßkirch facility.
