MiCROTEC hosted for the first time Transart - the festival of contemporary culture!

The success of MiCROTEC, the global technology and market leader in the field of intelligent detection of wood properties for optimization in the wood processing industry, lies above all on the founder and president Federico Giudiceandrea's enthusiasm for numbers. Whether as one of the world's most significant collectors of the art of impossible geometries by M.C. Escher, as an entrepreneur with the most solid budget figures, or as a discoverer of new, numerical connections in wood measurement - it is always the primal artistic urge to discover something new beyond well-known horizons.
The festival of contemporary culture , Transart, was hosted by MiCROTEC for the first time and presented a tailor-made program designed especially for this important occasion. Three dancers, under the guidance of choreographer Deva Schubert, question a mutated alphorn that intertwines alpine romanticism with the most advanced digital thinking.
THE SISTERS OF ALGOLORE could also be performing on a distant planet where alpine goats exist again and alphorn machines are to be found. The sound artist Hannes Hölzl, who is responsible for the alphorn, is in his own project exploring the depths of the sound of a wide variety of wood types, all of which are measured and made to sound according to the principle of the golden ratio.
Transart takes culture back to its origins - where people research, experiment and think about the future in a non-judgmental way.
