MiCROTEC sponsors and attends the 11th edition of the World Conference on Timber Engineering held in the picturesque city Riva on the Garda lake.

The conference is part of the continuing series of conferences previously held in Seattle (1988), Tokyo (1990), London (1991), New Orleans (1996), Montreux (1998), Whistler (2000), Shah Alam (2002), Lahti (2004), Portland (2006) and Miyazaki (2008).

The objective of the WCTE 2010 is to provide a forum for the exchange of the latest technological advances, research results and design innovations. As such, this conference should be of interest to practicing engineers and architects, researchers, educators and manufacturers in the field of timber engineering.
